How to make a sustainable fashion statement at your wedding.

Updated: Mar 10

The 1980s called - and it's wondering why more modern brides are not wearing its dresses?

What's wrong with a bit of slow fashion guys?

As cascading skirts go, it doesn't get much better than this one. And as for making an entrance? I doubt you'd find a more EPIC dress.

This dress stands the test of time and personally, I really like the sleeves.

Not your cup of tea?

There are a million and one ways to customise a vintage wedding dress - yes, you could start with the sleeves and perhaps turn this into a two piece; the top half becoming much sleeker and no frills but that's a whole other post!

So, for now, as you read this, perhaps planing your big day or doing a bit of 'pinning' on your 'wedding dress idea Pinterest board' - PIN THIS.

Vintage is now.

It doesn't cost the earth and there are some terrific vintage wedding dresses out there from the 80s - and I intend to find them.
