I began Sash + Veil in 2013 since discovering how important it is to choose the right accessories to complete your bridal look. You will spend lots of time and often money searching for your wedding dress and so it is very important to choose a veil, and possibly a sash or belt, which compliments that dream dress to perfection.

My passion is detail and each piece I create is made by hand (usually by me) with an emphasis on top quality craftsmanship, unique design and impeccable style.
I have a collection of veils available to buy off the peg or which can be customised to your own choice of length or colour, etc. I can also work with you to design a veil or a sash unique to you.
MILL HOUSE MILLINERY
"Help! I need at hat, but I just don’t suit them!" - is a phrase which Susan from Mill House Millinery hears frequently. She prides herself that she can design and make a headpiece for even the most anxious of clients.
The starting point in finding a hat to suit you is to start with the outfit. If patterned, consider picking out one or two colours, if plain, consider a contrast.
Be guided by size, and occasion too – a huge brim can swamp a petite figure, and could make greeting wedding guests difficult, however would look stunning for the races.

Susan can guide you through trying different shapes in a variety of materials and trims to find something that does suit you, and you feel comfortable in, and is happy to custom make something specific to your requirements. The Mill House Millinery studio is just outside Saffron Walden, and appointments can be made to suit your schedule.
