When pondering where to shoot a stunning late -1950s vintage wedding dress, there was only ever one answer...
Bonjour Paris!
Working in collaboration with a fantastic Paris-based team, the shoot is beautiful in its simplicity and showcases the intricate details of the dress, which handily blends well with those Parisian city tones.
The dress is a subtle Champagne colour, made from silk brocade and has wonderful hand stitched, beaded embellishments across the front.
I love how works so well with Paris in the Autumn!
I love a mix of the really old and the really new generally - but think that there is something to be said for matching a vintage wedding dress with modern items, such as a leather jacket - especially with that quilted detail.
I love taking Cambridge Vintage Bridal out and about and shouting about slow fashion and how wonderful and unique vintage wedding dresses can be.
I hope you’ll agree that this is a very contemporary look, in the world’s most romantic city and the vintage wedding dress is simply timeless.
Vive la Vintage!
